March Madness & All About The Good Things In Life
As I had already mentioned in this post about how busy I had been starting February till March; so I am not repeating all that again. Now that phase is over & once again I am settled and back to my routine at my place in Chandigarh. And really I do not plan to go to my parents’ & in-laws’ place for next 2-3 months at least. Leaving your place for many days leaves you tired and creates lot of unorganized stuff at home. Also I hate packing and unpacking the bags. Such a time-wasting activity it is. I love my home and dread leaving it for many days. Though it is a gratitude post for the month of March but here, I would like to pay my gratitude for all the good things that I have my in life.
Love & Blessings
I am deeply grateful for the unconditional love and blessings that my parents shower on me. I can never return what they have done for me. I am blessed to have a husband whom I know for almost 12 years (only 3 years of marriage); a partner who makes my life easy & supports me in everything that I wish to do. I feel sheer satisfaction when I confide my secrets & awkward-things-that-my-mind-feels with my younger sister. She is truly a blessing in my life. I am grateful to have parents-in-law who never fails to amaze me with their love. Their blessings are like blanket of protection on us. Although I am not of those types, who is surrounded by friends & get along with everyone. I have only few friends & I am happy & grateful to have them on this planet. I read somewhere – “You need only two friends to spend a good life; a large circle of friends leads to depression”.
I would like to give a special mention to my dearest daughter– my baby Shona – she made me realize what a parent feels for her child. She taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and the importance of blessings in one’s life. Only love & blessings make the world a better place to live in.
Food, Cloth & a Shelter
Roti, Kapda or Makaan – is what a men need to survive on this planet earth. These are the basic necessities to live a good life. The other things that a man longs for is his greediness. And I am obliged to have both basic & luxurious things in my life. I am grateful for the comfort that God has given me and I am one of those lucky people on earth, who has got the luxury to choose from the many options.
They say – “always look to people who are below you to appreciate the things that you have in life” and I feel it is a right thing to do so. But what is more important is to do something for those less privileged people, who are not fortunate to have a single meal in a day.
The right way to feel grateful about the good things in your life is to help the needy & protect the precious nature that God has given us.
What is that one thing, which you are eternally grateful for in life?
I am joining Vidya Sury’s Gratitude Circle every month. Join me & others. It is a wonderful way to count your blessings regularly. 🙂
